Rockwell CimeXa Insecticide Dust Features

Cimexa insecticide dust is labeled for control of bedbugs, fleas, ticks, lice, roaches, ants, Firebrats, silverfish, spiders & mites. It may also be used for the prevention & Treatment of dry wood termites. 

The broad label allows the product to treat cracks, crevices, voids, mattresses, carpets, pet rest areas, attics & many other areas. The engineered silica-based dust has exceptional water absorption (in liquid form) & oil, destroying the insect’s waxy cuticle, causing rapid dehydration & Death.

CimeXa is also a strong desiccant silica dust (absorbs water and oil), which does not contain any additional pesticide active ingredients.

Since CimeXa is completely amorphous, with no crystalline content, this pest repellant does not cut the exoskeleton of insects like DE, and unlike DE is non-repellent. Because of the mode of action, there is no resistance to CimeXa.

CimeXa is light, which allows it to adhere and accumulate on bed bug exoskeletons quickly. Bed bugs are unaware that CimeXa is present, and they continue to reside in their typical harborage areas, leading to more rapid and complete control, even of the heaviest infestations. CimeXa quickly kills bed bugs where they live without displacement, without repellency, and disturbing their normal behavior.

How to Use Rockwell CimeXa Insecticide Dust

To effectively eliminate bed bugs, you may follow a 2-step treatment approach: kill visible bed bugs and contain the infestation by reducing bed bug movement into new areas using EcoVia EC and FenvaStar EcoCap and provide both immediate and long-term protection, exclusion, and killing using CimeXa Insecticide Dust. 

For best results, CimeXa should be mixed as follows:

1. Add approximately half of the required amount of water to the bottle/tank.
2. Add the appropriate amount of CimeXa.
3. Close application equipment and agitate or shake the tank until the dust is wetted and a slurry is formed.
4. Add the remaining water and agitate or shake again before use to ensure thorough mixing.

Note: Shake or re-agitate application equipment before use if the application is interrupted to ensure the product is thoroughly mixed. Mix only the amount of application volume as required. Do not store wettable dust spray mixture overnight.

“There are 11 rooms to rent here, one kitchen and no living room. It’s not partially paid for by HUD or medical. The rates are very high. Some prior tenants didn’t  have enough money for soap even. I mixed it with water as instructed and sprayed it under the bed. I used an empty half gallon milk bottle first for mixing.  It looks like a layer of powdered sugar on the dark brown carpet. You’ll want hand and body lotion because it does have a drying effect but it’s soooo worth it. I didn’t want to use it dry and have a bigger chance of it getting in my eyes and lungs but some do. One must have a spray to stream an empty bottle. It does turn to a solid so spray quick and rinse out the bottle well for next time.”
